Dear friends of the Korean people,
The OCIFPGPP has originated the organization of an international festival every five years in Pyongyang and on Mt. Paektu, with the object of giving a wider publicity to the undying exploits of the illustrious great persons of Korea, and various colorful activities on major occasions in between each of its festivals as befits its mission, while taking the initiative in its successful implementation.
The Korean people will be celebrating the 75th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea(WPK) on the coming October 10th, 2020.
The WPK, to the present since it had a hammer, a sickle and a writing brush embroidered in its flag, has guided Korea along the path to victory and prosperity with confidence by unvaryingly maintaining the line of independence in the unprecedented crucible and challenges of the times.
In the meantime, it is worth to note that the WPK, with its peculiar mode of existence that is to share the destiny with its people and make selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people, has won people's unreserved support and trust as well as enjoying the respect and admiration of the world progressive people.
The WPK's supreme authority and unique leadership, which stand unrivaled with any of the political parities around the world, constitute the brilliant outcome of the outstanding and seasoned leadership of the great leaders of Korea – President KIM IL SUNG, Leader KIM JONG IL, and His Excellency KIM JONG UN.
The OCIFPGPP Secretariat, after full consideration of an inevitable circumstance that this meaningful occasion could not be celebrated together with the Korean people in Pyongyang due to the pandemic, COVID-19, sweeping over the whole world, has reached to consensus to organize an international gathering on-line rather, and has the honor to inform as follows:
1. We shall hold the International E-seminar on the occasion of the 75th Founding Anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea under the joint auspices of OCIFPGPP and Indonesia-Korea Friendship and Cultural Exchange, and the main theme of the event is decided to be "Korea: Ever-Victorious with Independence".
2. The proposed event will be held and be open to the public from September 25th through October 5th, 2020, using the Indonesia-Korea Friendship and Cultural Exchange website (www.kawankorea.com ) as a platform.
3. Individuals who would like to partake in this seminar are kindly advised and expected to prepare their written presentation and forward the contribution to KawanKorea.Com (mailto: KawanKorea@gmail.com), secretary general of Indonesia-Korea Friendship and Cultural Exchange, who will be a main host of this e-seminar, by not later than September 20th, 2020.
The OCIFPGPP Secretariat, expressing its full confidence that the International E-seminar will be held with great success, serving as a significant opportunity to remember the colossal feats performed by the illustrious great persons of Korea and the WPK before the Korean revolution and for the accomplishment of cause of world independence, very much looks forward to active participation and support from friends of the Korean people around the world.
