TODAY Great President Kim Il Sung, His Excellency Kim Jong Il and the Respected His Excellency Kim Jong Un are receiving immense reverences and respects, being highly praised as the eminent great persons of Mt Paektu by the Korean people and the world’s progressive peoples.
We can not think about their greatness and exploits apart from Mt Paektu. The socialist Korea shines to the world having the peerlessly great persons as its eternal symbol, and of course, along with Mt Paektu.
Mt. Paektu is a strategic stronghold for the Korean revolution which is associated with the immortal revolutionary exploits of Great President Kim Il Sung.
In his early days Great President Kim Il Sung created an immortal Juche idea with deep insights into the desire of the Korean people for independence and the demand of the era that the oppressed and maltreated popular masses emerged as the masters of their destiny.
Cherished deep in his mind a far-reaching ambition to accomplish the cause of national liberation on the basis of the Juche idea, he set up the headquarter of the Korean revolution at the area of Mt. Paektu and led the long-term and bloody anti-Japanese armed struggle to victory, thus realized the historical cause of the fatherland liberation.
After the liberation he founded the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), the Juche-oriented revolutionary party, and the Korean People’s Army (KPA), the regular revolutionary armed forces that consisted of the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters who were trained at Mt Paektu as the core and included the sons and daughters of the working popular masses of all walks of life and established the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), the first people’s political power in the East on the basis of firmly consolidating the social system for people’s democracy through carrying out the land reform and some other democratic reforms.
He defeated the U.S imperialists, who boasted of being “the strongest” in the world, and safeguarded the national dignity and sovereignty with honor by leading the 3-year long national liberation war against the U.S. imperialists to the victory, an aggressive war unleashed by the U.S to nip the DPRK, a country with a short history, in its bud in its wild dream for world supremacy.
He clarified scientifically the socialism, which embodies the Juche idea and the spirit of self-reliance fostered in the forest of Mt Paektu during the anti-Japanese struggle, is an unique way to translate the people’s dreams and ideals into reality and to guarantee the ever-lasting happiness of all generations, thus building the socialism centered on the popular masses and socialism for democratic independence in Korea.
Felt pains more than others over the sufferings of the Korean nation from the division of the country, he put forth the reasonable and fair lines that the reunification of the country should be carried out independently and peacefully with the concerted efforts of all the Korean nation and devoted all his heart and soul to its realization.
President Kim Il Sung, by leading the Korean people to the road of independence for the first time in history under the banner of the immortal Juche idea, ensured that all the oppressed countries and nations in the world bravely turned in the struggle against subjugation and inequality and for the sovereignty, independence and equality and brilliantly illuminated the road ahead of the struggle of the progressive people who opposed the imperialism and intended for the independence, sovereignty and socialism, thus strongly encouraged and instigated the cause of modeling the entire world on independence.
Indeed, Great President Kim Il Sung lives eternally in the memories of the Korean people and the world’ s progressive peoples as an outstanding leader of the 20th century and a great person of Mt Paektu.
Mt Paektu is the birthplace of Great His Excellency Kim Jong Il and the sacred mountain of the Korean revolution in which the lifeline of the Juche revolutionary cause, hewed out by President Kim Il Sung was maintained.
Born at Mt Paektu and grew up hearing the sound of gunfire of the anti-Japanese great battles as if lullaby, His Excellency Kim Jong Il perfectly embodied himself all the personality and qualifications needed to become a successor to the leader under the care of President Kim Il Sung.
With a natural disposition to the boundless fidelity towards President Kim Il Sung, he conducted the energetic thinking and search to analyze comprehensively and sum up the 100-year ideological history of the world working classes and discovered that the revolutionary ideas of President Kim Il Sung was a unique idea perfectly distinguished with the former ideas of the world working classes. By formulating his revolutionary ideas as the Kimilsungism, His Excellency Kim Jong Il ensured it shining as the great revolutionary idea in the era of independence.
He declared the programs of modeling the WPK, the KPA and the entire society on Kimilsungism, strengthened and developed the WPK as the party of the leader in which the monolithic ideological system and the monolithic leading system were perfectly established, accomplished the single-minded unity that all the Korean people rallied firmly around President Kim Il Sung and the WPK and built up the KPA as the army of the leader and the party and the invincible revolutionary army.
His Excellency Kim Jong Il enforced the original Songun politics in all spheres of the DPRK in the middle of the 1990s.
A statesman’s ability hinges upon one’s character.
His Excellency Kim Jong Il is a general of Mt Paektu-style, born with its spirit and mettle.
The spirit of Mt Paektu is an indomitable spirit of the Korean nation, and its mettle is the characteristics of the Korean nation that do not compromise with injustice in any case and do not give in to the enemies.
His Excellency KIM JONG IL’ s remarkable characteristics can only be compared to Mt Paektu ��" his rock-firm revolutionary faith and indomitable will, unshakable by a raging wind, heroic grit and courage believing in that there is a way out though the heavens fall, his strenuous dashing spirit of overcoming the hardships and trials, and his endless passion gushes out infinitely.
In the middle of the 1990s when the maneuvers of the imperialists and its allied forces to isolate and stifle the DPRK reached to its acme after the Great President Kim Il Sung passed away, His Excellency Kim Jong Il saw to it that the maximum and top prior strength should be directed to the consolidation of the national defence and the revolutionary armed forces, thus firmly defended the dignity of the people-centred socialist system and the sovereignty of the country.
That the DPRK emerges ever-victorious in its nuclear confrontation with the U.S. By the dint of the original Songu politics, enjoying the status of manufacturing and launching state of the artificial earth satellites and that of the nuclear-armed state, is attributable to His Excellency Kim Jong Il’s invariable faith and indomitable conviction for the victory in socialism and his matchless grit and courage as a military commander of Mt Paektu. This is really a miracle of the history and his greatest exploits.
Indeed Great His Excellency Kim Jong Il, who had been advancing the Juche revolutionary cause, pioneered by President Kim Il Sung, and the cause of world independence holding aloft the banner of Songun during his whole life, is being praised by the Korean people and the world revolutionary people as the Sun of Songun and the great person of Mt Paektu.
By having His Excellency Kim Jong Un, the supreme leader of the Korean people as one another great person of Mt Paektu, Mt Paektu becomes an eternal ancestral mountain of the Korean nation with the bright future of the reunified Korea and is the beacon of hope for the world revolutionary people.
To praise His Excellency Kim Jong Un as a great person of Mt. Paektu is ascribed to the fact that he embodies a complete knowledge of ideas of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and a complete acquisition of their leadership and personalities , wisely leading the Juche revolutionary cause, the independent reunification of Korea and the cause of the world independence, true to the desires and intentions of President Kim Il Sung and His Excellency Kim Jong Il.
The fact that His Excellency Kim Jong Un was appointed as chairman of the Workers’ Party of Korea at the 7th Congress of the WPK demonstrates to the world that his leadership allover the country definitely established and the Korean people trust in and support him absolutely.
The eye-opening events happening in the DPR Korea today are the clear manifestation of his extraordinary political ability.
At the 7th Congress of the WPK he illuminated the road ahead of the national reunification that only when the lines of national reunification put forth by President Kim Il Sung and His Excellency Kim Jong Il are constantly held aloft, can the national reunification be achieved.
He also provided the world revolutionary people with the banner of their struggle by clarifying the principles for achieving the world independence - all the countries and nations in the world should maintain the independence, achieve the genuine international justice, defend and advance the cause of socialism, strengthen and develop the non-aligned movement while the parties, organizations and progressive countries aspiring after independence should unite and cooperate with each other under the banner of independence.
Today all the Korean nationals living in north and south Korea and abroad remain confident from image of His Excellency Kim Jong Un that their ardent desire of reunification to living in happiness on one land, demonstrating oneness of the Korea and worshiping Mt. Paektu as an ancestral mountain, will be realized without fail.
The world’s progressive peoples are looking up Mt Paektu as the image of His Excellency Kim Jong Un and a beacon of hope, longing for that he would wisely lead their struggle against the hard-handedness and arbitrariness, aggression and subjugation of the imperialism. They also have full confidence in that as long as there is his wise leadership, the cause of the world independence will be surely implemented.
At Mt Paektu in the coming August, there will be held the 5th International Festival to Praise Great Persons of Mt Paektu participated by the representatives from the regional and national preparatory committees for “Gathering 2017-Praise to Great Persons of Mt Paektu” and the friendship and solidarity organizations with the Korean people in the world.
On behalf of the Asia-Pacific Regional Preparatory Committee and the Indonesian Preparatory Committee for “Gathering 2017 to Praise Great Persons of Mt Paektu”, I ardently call upon again all the members of the regional and national preparatory committees to visit Mt. Paektu so as to praise highly the greatness and exploits of the great persons of Mt. Paektu and send the strong and full supports and solidarity to the Korean people in their struggle to achieve the national reunification. ***
